Amazing Africa surfboards 50/50 model rocks

50/50 model

The 50/50 model:

Got my 50/50 model about a week ago and was so stoked to see how awesome the board looked. But we judge boards on how well they perform in all conditions. I’m nervous when I try a new surfboard, you get used to one when you try a new one it feels weird at first.

How it went:

My first wave got up and just slipped off and I was here we go again. My second was a great right-hander which was breaking fast and this board just kept its speed. It turned well in the pocket and came out of every turn with so much speed. I landed up having such a great surf I was out for over 2 hours. Got some lefts as I’m goofy and it held its rail in hard bottom turns well. After a week of surfing this board, it is now my 1st choice board now.

Dimensions:

You get this 50/50 board in a few dimensions from 5ft4inch to 6ft6inch to carry a bigger body. I weigh 105kg so I need the volume and it did not disappoint. I could catch all types of waves easily on this surfboard. This board is made by my best mates who rip in their own right from Warner Beach on the south coast of Durban. Africa surfboards is owned by Grant Van De Linde and Gary Van Wieringen and they are making sick surfboards. I recommend this board to anyone looking to get a new board soon it really is the best board I have ridden in a long time. Well done Africa surfboards this model is awesome. Compared to my last surfboard this one is a lot better.
